Deleting a Gallery

If you no longer need a gallery, follow these steps to delete it from PhotoBerry Studio:

  1. Access the Gallery List

    • In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the PhotoBerry Studio menu located in the sidebar.
    • Click on Galleries to view a list of all your galleries.

  2. Select the Gallery to Delete

    • Locate the gallery you want to delete in the list.

  3. Delete the Gallery

    • Click the Trash icon button that appears in the action column.
    • The gallery will be moved to the Trash, and it will no longer be visible on the frontend.

  4. Permanently Delete the Gallery

    • To permanently delete a gallery, go to the Trash tab within the Galleries section.
    • You can either:
      • Click Empty Trash to delete all galleries in the Trash, or
      • Select the specific gallery you wish to delete, then use the Bulk Actions dropdown and select Delete Permanently.

Important Notes​

  • Image Removal: Deleting a gallery will also remove all images associated with it. If you need to keep the images, make sure to back them up.
  • Deleted Galleries: When a gallery is moved to the Trash, it can still be restored if needed. However, once a gallery is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered without the help of external backups.
  • Client Access: Deleting a gallery will remove access for any clients who were assigned to that gallery.
